S4E3 (episode 33): Harley Blakeman on creating job opportunities for fellow people with convictions
In this episode, Harley and Jeffrey discuss Harley becoming homeless as a teenager, turning to drugs, spending over a year in prison, and his journey through education and founding a company that helps people with convictions find jobs.
Harley Blakeman is the Founder and CEO of Honest Jobs, Inc., the nation’s largest fair-chance employment platform. Formerly incarcerated himself, Harley knows how hard it is to get a job when you have a felony, as 19 million Americans do. He collaborates with partners across the private, public, and nonprofit organizations, with the goal of helping people with criminal records have ample opportunity to thrive at work, at home, and in their communities.
